Podiatric Rx

Mark Gallagher established Podiatric Rx following his career in the NHS and works across a number of sites based in Birmingham, Warwickshire and London with distinct sub specialties. The main type of work is focused on joint and soft tissue problems in association with mechanical pathology mainly at a foot and ankle level. 

 

Mark has always worked in multidisciplinary (MD) settings and this has enabled him to understand how collaborative working provides the most effective outcome for his patient groups. 

 

These MD relationships cover the key players in musculoskeletal (MSK) cases such as Physiotherapists / Sports Doctors / Orthopaedic Surgeons / Radiologists / GP’s / Chiropractors / Osteopaths / Strength & Conditioning teams and Soft Tissue Therapists. 

 

The ability to communicate openly with those involved in the care pathways are instrumental in optimising the end results for his patients and the process of understanding and learning from other disciplines makes clinical practice exciting and rewarding. 

 

Mark has an established reputation and proven track record in musculoskeletal medicine and management of common and complex lower limb injury. The fundamental foundations of clinical assessment skills alongside advanced clinical reasoning are the foundations of his practice and understanding the needs of the athletic and non athletic populations crucial in obtaining the optimum outcome for the wide range of problems that Mark is involved with.
