We are a private GP practice covering the Birmingham and Midland areas. We offer quick and easy access to GP consultations, investigations and tests.

After a thorough consultation and examination, which will aim to look at all aspects of your health and well-being, the GP will discuss a management plan with you. These could include a prescription (at no extra charge) or further investigations such as blood tests or scans.

At times, further investigations may be needed to address your medical concerns in order to find out the root of the problem. The Birmingham General Practice is able to offer a range of investigations including:

  • Full Blood Count

  • Liver Function Test

  • Kidney Function Test

  • Thyroid Function Test

  • PSA Test

  • Cholesterol Test

  • Allergy Test

  • HbA1C Test (test for Diabetes)

  • Vitamin Tests including Vitamin B12, Folate and Vitamin D

  • Referral for X-rays, Ultrasound, CT and MRI scans

We understand how difficult it can be to lose weight. There are a lot of diets out there, the majority of which involve some form of calorie counting. These tend to only work in the short-term as they are not sustainable and inevitably, they just make people miserable. Our relationship with food is so much more complex than a calculation of calories in and calories out and this is why these diets do not work for the majority of people. We are proud to be able to offer an alternative weight loss solution.
